The female explained that she was at her residence earlier and in the driveway, placing her children inside her vehicle, when an unknown male began assaulting her. The female contended that she did not know the assailant. The assailant caused injury to the female’s ear while striking her about the head and body.
Officers also met with her boyfriend, Adrian Raul Lopez of Brownwood. Lopez denied any knowledge of the assault but stated that the female arrived home from work then took the children to the parking lot, intending to leave in her vehicle. A short time later, the female called Lopez, stating that she as at the ER and wanted him to come to her. Officers continued speaking with Lopez and he ultimately confessed to arguing with the female and stated that both of them ‘snapped’ and he tried to grab her phone and ended up piercing her ear.
