Saturday, June 10th, Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce held the Kick-off event for Lemonade Day Brownwood 2023 at Ben Lednicky Park presented by Chick-Fil-A. The young entrepreneurs received valuable information about the program as well as signed up for the Lemonade Day app. Help was received from Lemonade Day sponsors and volunteers, and Chick-Fil-A provided free chicken nuggets.

The Chamber will be hosting youth entrepreneur education workshops each Thursday in July at 5:30 PM.
Workshop 1: Build a Business Plan on Thursday, July 6th at the Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce Board Room at 600 E Depot St.
Workshop 2: Food Handlers Safety on Thursday, July 13th at the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension office at 605 Fisk Ave.
Workshop 3: Financial Responsibility Shark Tank on Thursday, July 20th at First Central Credit Union at 1602 Austin Ave.
Workshop 4: Building Lemonade Stands on Thursday, July 27th at the Depot Plaza at 600 E Depot St.
Ribbon Cutting will take place on Friday, August 11th and presentation to the 2022 top seller at R.B. Rogers House at 707 Center Ave, Brownwood, TX 76801.
Lemonade Day is on Saturday, August 12th. Stands will be set up around Brown County at homes, parks and businesses.
