The 59th Annual Brown County Rodeo will take place Thursday, June 1 through Saturday, June 3 at the Earl Q. Wilson Arena at the Brown County Fairgrounds on U.S. Highway 377 South.
Action begins each night at 7:30 p.m. with mutton bustin’ with the grand entry scheduled for 8 p.m.
The James Andrews Rodeo Company will provide livestock, T.C. Long returns as announce and Todd Pettitgrew will be the barrel man. The San Angelo Rodeo Ambassadors will also be on hand to perform.
Veterans will be honored during Thursday night’s rodeo.
On Saturday, June 3, the Brown County Rodeo Parade returns to downtown Brownwood at 10 a.m., and at 8 p.m. that night at the youth fair barns, the Brown County Rodeo Dance will feature Ariel Hutchins and the Caleb Sutton Band.
Advance rodeo tickets are $8 and available at KOXE and Citizens National Bank. Tickets at the gate are $10 for adults. Those 12 and under are admitted free of charge.
