With Hendrick Health’s commitment to provide exceptional care with advanced diagnostic equipment, Hendrick Medical Center Brownwood (HMCB) announced the purchase and installation of a new DXA bone density system. This new technology allows for shorter bone scan times with greater detail.

A DXA scan is an image that measures bone density (strength). The measurement provides helpful details about your risk for osteoporosis (bone loss or thinning) and fractures (bone breaks).
