The 47th annual Heartland Rod Run, hosted by the Heartland Cruisers, is scheduled for Saturday, June 3 at Riverside Park.
Admission to the event is free as the car show will take place from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. with the Panty Dash at 11 a.m., the Burnout Contest at noon, and the awards presentation at 2 p.m. There will be two classes in the Burnout Contest – race and street – and the entry fee is $10. First place in the Burnout Contest will receive a $100 award and second place will get $50.
The Best of Show will receive a $250 prize. Other awards include Best GM, Best Ford, Best Mopar, Best of the Rest and Best Bike.
Festivities will begin at 6 p.m. Friday, June 2 with the Poker Run at Early City Hall. Registration is $5 per hand.
