Brownwood Police Officer Collin Davis has received a Lifesaver Award from Chief of Police Ed Kading. The award was presented at a monthly luncheon jointly sponsored by the Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce and the Early Chamber of Commerce. The luncheon recognized and honored all law enforcement agencies in Brown County.
According to Chief Kading, Davis responded to a call on April 20 and found a man who had cut himself with a knife. Davis applied a tourniquet, dressed the wound, and call for an ambulance. Medical professionals at the hospital said that without Davis’ actions, the individual would not have survived.
