Press Release by AccelHealth:
The much-anticipated opening of the new AccelHealth clinic located at 2100 Crockett Drive, Brownwood, TX opened its doors for a community-wide Grand Opening on Tuesday, April 4th.
Brownwood Chamber of Commerce and Early Chamber of Commerce was there to kick off the event with a joint ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Mayor Stephen Haynes stated, “Of course, AccelHealth is not new to Brownwood, but the building is new and the facility is new. Anytime we get new infrastructure in our community it is a great thing. But when it’s able to provide quality healthcare, it’s even a greater thing.”
Mayor Haynes added, “Beyond healthcare it’s also about jobs. And if you look around we’ve got a lot of people with a very nice beautiful place to work with a great working environment and I’m very proud to see that.”
AccelHealth CEO Esther Taylor shared, “This is an exciting day for us and we are grateful for the community support we have received. With our new and larger building, we are able to serve a greater number of patients. AccelHealth is committed to providing quality healthcare to all individuals with or without insurance. Additionally, we want to thank our established patients for choosing AccelHealth as their primary care provider.”
Over 100 attendees toured the beautiful building and learned more about the growing need for Community Health Centers. AccelHealth Marketing Director Jill Evans said, “AccelHealth will serve our patients “Better Together” as we bring two Brownwood clinic locations under one roof. Evans expressed her appreciation for the Gentiva Hospice Staff in providing refreshments for the Grand Opening and Texas Clean for the delicious food trays on a moving day.”
