Students from Early and Bangs FCCLA programs took part in the State Conference in Dallas over the weekend.
According to the Bangs ISD Facebook page, Aubrey Bishop placed 2nd in Fashion Construction to qualify for Nationals in Denver, Colorado this summer.
Kirsten Poling competed in Recycle, Redesign, Anna Nance competed in Leadership and Ryan Duncan competed in Mystery Basket.
According to the Early High School Facebook page Caroline Welker, State Vice President of Programs, facilitated her last FCCLA conference and relinquished her officer position.
Welker has served Texas FCCLA in one of the highest capacities, with grace and dedication, and we are so proud of her. Caroline received a $1,000 scholarship from Blue Bell Creameries to be used at the university of her choice.
Peyton Cockerham competed in the Nutrition and Wellness STAR event, while Alexa Hernandez earned a silver medal in the FCSA competition and Mikayla Dodson and Venicia Acker brought home bronze medals.
