GLEN ROSE – The Brownwood Lions finished as the overall boys champion of the District 6-4A tennis tournament while the Lady Lions placed third as a team in the two-day event, which concluded Friday.

Advancing to regionals are boys singles champion Peter Le, boys doubles champions Jacob Singleton and River Prado, and girls doubles runners-up Raylei Hickey and Emma Delgado.

Finishing third and serving as regional alternates are Madeleine Goff and Ashlyn Bundick in girls doubles.

The Region I-4A tennis tournament will take place April 12-13 at the McLeod Tennis Center in Lubbock.
