National Public Health week is from April 3-9, and the Brownwood/Brown County Health Department plans on showcasing the work that is conducted at the Department during this year’s National Public Health Week.
Starting on Monday, April 3, the Department will highlight one of the public health programs each day through April 7. Each program has developed methods of showcasing work on its respective day through varied methods decided and created by programmatic staff. Ensure you follow the Brownwood/Brown County Health Department on Facebook to observe and interact with the activities of the Department.
The following schedule will guide the National Public Health Week activities:
- Monday, April 3 – Public Health Emergency Preparedness
- Tuesday, April 4 – Community Conversations on Health
- Wednesday, April 5 – Women, Infants, and Children – WIC
- Thursday, April 6 – Immunizations and Public Health
- Friday, April 7 – Sanitation
