On Monday, March 27, Brownwood Middle School (BMS) held an induction ceremony for new members of the National Junior Honor Society (NJHS). A total of 11 new 8th grade members and 33 new 7th grade members were inducted during the ceremony which featured BISD Superintendent Dr. Joe Young as the guest speaker.
The criteria by which National Junior Honor Society members are selected includes encouraging and maintaining high standards in scholarship, service, leadership, citizenship, and character.
