MILLSAP – The Early Longhorns improved to 2-1 in District 8-3A baseball action and 7-5 on the season with a 14-0 road victory over Millsap Tuesday night.
The Longhorns scored four runs in each of the first two innings, and added three apiece in the third and fourth frames to coast to the victory.
Early finished with 16 hits led by four from Jeremy Brown, three from John-Stewart Gordon, two each from Ethan Pallette and Caleb McCullough, and one apiece from Gavin Sanders, Caydon Laird, Riley Hill, Ki Houston and Sebastian Constancia.
In terms of RBIs, Palette, McCullough and Cooper Jacobs each recorded three, Gordon drove in two, and Sanders finished with one.
On the mound, Pallette hurled a three-hit shutout with five strikeouts.
The Lady Horns will host Breckenridge at 7 p.m. Friday.
