On Tuesday, February 21, 2023, Deputy Toby Mathis responded to Springlake West. This was for a report of a suspicious male in the area. The male subject was not located at that time but was positively identified as the same male subject who fled from Early PD earlier in the day. Information was gathered for a report.
On Thursday, February 23, 2023, Lt. Pete Bastardo responded to Country Oaks Lane. This was in regarding a dog attacking another dog. Contact was made with reporting person, and it was determined the suspected dog was a stray. Arrangements were made with the animal shelter and the suspected dog was transported there by the reporting person.
On Friday, February 24, 2023, at approximately 10:35 a.m., Deputy Rita Duaine was dispatch to a theft call, located at Morris Sheppard Dr., Brownwood. Deputy Duaine spoke with a victim who stated an unidentified person stole his lunch box, which contained his wallet that had his identifications inside. Later the victim’s lunch box was recovered and returned to him. Information was gathered, and an information report was completed.
On Friday, February 24, 2023, Lt. Pete Bastardo met with a complainant at Country Oaks Lane. This was in regards to theft/damage to rental property. The complainant provided a list of the missing items, along with what was damaged on the rental property. A report was taken from the complainant and the ex- renters are both being listed as suspects.
On Saturday, February 25, 2023, at approximately 00:58, Deputy Smith was dispatched to County Road 153, Bangs, TX. This was for a criminal trespass warning. Deputy Smith served an individual with a Criminal Trespass Warning for the property at County Road 153 Bangs, TX.
