Early’s Kayli DeVusser won Grand Champion Junior Female in both Sporting Clays and Skeet at the Houston Stock Show & Rodeo Young Guns Sporting Clays Shoot.
DeVusser finished with an overall score of 132 in both events Sunday, topping runner-up Hunter Davidson’s score of 123.
DeVusser’s totals were 25 in round A and 23 in round B of the skeet competition, as her 48 points edged runner-up Annie Terrys 47-point tally.
In the sporting clays, DeVusser recorded 84 points in the 13-station contest – defeating runner-up June Whittenburg (78).
An eighth-grader at Early ISD, DeVusser will be competing in the San Antonio Stock Show Sporting Clays Shoot later this week.
