Sandra “Sandy” Kay Livingston McMillan was born November 25, 1952, in Kermit, Texas to the proud parents of Cotton and Dorthy Livingston. Sandy gained her wings February 6, 2023, surrounded by her loved ones.
In her passing, Sandy has been reunited with her parents, brother, son, and many other loved ones. She is survived by her loving husband, daughters, “favorite son in law”, 5 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, an aunt, and cousins.
Sandy lived life to the fullest. Whether it be family Christmas’ around the tree, weekends at the lake, or playing a competitive game of Canasta (with ever-changing rules), she leaves so many with cherished memories of her shining personality, contagious laughter, and beautiful heart.
Sandy made a remarkable impact on the lives of everyone she met. She saw the best in and accepted everyone, loved unconditionally & wholeheartedly, and truly set the example of what love is. She was “mom” to many and cherished each and every person she “adopted”.
The love she instilled in everyone she met will radiate far beyond the years that she’s lived. She will now be the whisper in the wind, her smile to be seen in the most beautiful sunsets, and her warmth to be felt in the glory of each new day.
The family would like to extend our sincerest gratitude to the staff at Angels Care Hospice for their kindness and compassion not only with their care for her, but also in helping the family through this process.
A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at 1:00 PM, at Sunset Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home Chapel, and will be officiated by Daniel Hernandez.
Additionally, the memorial will be live streamed & accessible through her obituary page at www.sunsetodessa.com.
