BURKBURNETT – The Brownwood Lions dropped their first game in the Burkburnett soccer tournament to Amarillo Palo Duro, 8-1, Thursday.

Junior Martinez accounted for the lone Brownwood goal.

The Lions (3-6-1) will attempt to snap a two-match skid when they resume tournament action Friday.
