Jack Thomas Fletcher, age 55, passed away on Wednesday, January 4th, 2023. A Celebration of Life is scheduled for 2:00 pm Wednesday, January 25th, 2023 in the Heartland Funeral Home Chapel in Early.
Jack was born May 26th, 1967 in Palo Alto, CA. He graduated from Stroud High School in 1985. Jack served in the United States Marine Corps, 1stMarDiv where he rose to the rank of Sergeant and was awarded the Rifle Expert Badge (2nd Award), the Good Conduct Medal, the Sea Service Deployment Ribbon and the Navy Unit Commendation. He then impacted the lives of numerous youth in his 27 years of work as a Juvenile Correctional Officer for the Texas Juvenile Justice Department at Ron Jackson State School in Brownwood. Jack’s interests included motorcycles, board games and video games, but his love for spending time with his family was above all else.
Jack is survived by his children: Regan Fletcher and Jeffrey, Jack Robert Fletcher and Brittany, Robbie Brooks and Cheyenne, Tiffanie Brooks, and Karissa Tischler. His grandchildren: Nikki, Jeffrey (JD), Jack River, Isla, Kloe and Kalizter. His siblings: Karlene Reed and Tony, Eric Ballard and Ahnalisa Brown. His niece and nephews: Kris Reed, Sarah and Ronnie Fleming, and Dillon Reed. His parents Joanna and Robert Fletcher. As well as: Martha Jessie James, Nancy Davis, Tanya Tischler, Lori and Russell Fleming, Courtney and Tony Clark, Gary and Ladonnia Reed, endless friends and former co-workers, and his beloved companion Lobo.
Jack was preceded in death by: Warren Reed, Michael Beavers and Natalie Allison.
