Cats on Canvas is an evening of art, food, cocktails and fun, all to raise funds for the spay/neuter of community cats, a TNR Brownwood event.   Piano music will be provided by Debra Mathis.

Cats on Canvas will be from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm this Thursday, January 19, at Brownwood Art Association, 215 Fisk Avenue.

“Whether you love cats or hate them, most people want fewer feral and stray cats. Trap, Neuter, Return is the humane way to achieve population control. TNR Works!”

Tickets are $35 which is the cost to TNR one cat. Tickets will be available at the door or online through BAA. The venue is donated by the Brownwood Art Association at 215 Fisk. Charcuterie creations are donated by Board at Home.

The events top sponsor is Stanley Dodge.  Tuxedo sponsors include Andy’s Pest Troopers, Nathan’s Jewelers, Betty and Dr. Allan Cass MD, Donna and Buddy Reynolds.

Tabby sponsors include Shaffer Motor Company, Shaw’s Marketplace, Mills County State Bank and Texas Custom Interiors.

TNR Brownwood is a 501(c)3 Non-profit organization dedicated to humanely reducing the population of feral and stray cats.  Since it’s creation in July of 2018, they have assisted in getting over 2000 cats fixed and vaccinated for rabies.
