EARLY – The Early Longhorns improved to 2-2 in District 8-3A action with a 66-59 home win over Breckenridge Tuesday night.
The Longhorns trailed 16-15 after one quarter and 29-24 at halftime, but opened a 45-42 edge after three periods.
Jeremy Brown paced Early with 19 points followed by Kaleb Hoffman with 17, Colten Allen with 12, John Hill with 10, Rohyn Price with six, and Jaxyn Price with two points.
The Longhorns visit Comanche Friday night.

May Lady Tigers 54, Baird 4
BAIRD – The May Lady Tigers improved to 15-9 overall and 2-0 in District 13-A action with a 54-4 road victory over Baird Tuesday.
May led 18-0 after one quarter, 32-2 at halftime, and 38-2 through three periods.
Jordyn Gerhardt led the Lady Tigers with 12 points followed by Peyton Blankenship with 10, Chloe Lord with seven, and Mia Musick with six.
May hosts Moran Friday night.

May Tigers 73, Santo 34
SANTO – In their final game prior to the start of District 13-A action, the May Tigers chalked up a 73-34 road victory over Santo Tuesday night.
May (15-4) led 7-6 after one quarter, 27-12 at halftime, and 53-24 through three periods.
Bryson Guerrero scored a team-high 18 points for Tigers followed by Braden Steele with 17 and Zach Martin with 10.
May opens district play at home Friday against Moran.

Winters 38, Bangs Lady Dragons 36
WINTERS – The Bangs Lady Dragons slipped to 0-2 in District 8-2A action Tuesday, falling at Winters, 38-36.
The Lady Dragons have been outscored by a total of three points in their two district outings.
Bangs led 10-8 after one quarter, 18-16 and 31-22 through three periods, but was outscored 16-5 over the final eight minutes.
Kasey Solis finished with 15 points for Bangs trailed by Neeley Bradley with 12, Joey Newton with six, Jadyn Miller with two, and Jaylee Valdez with one point.
Bangs hosts district front-runner Coleman Friday night.

Breckenridge 55, Early Lady Horns 32
EARLY – The Early Lady Horns tumbled to 0-6 in District 8-3A action with a 55-32 home loss to Breckenridge Tuesday night.
Early received 13 points from Averey Horton, eight from Jodi Lykes, five from Caroline Welker, and two each from Dakota Barksdale, Trinity Torrez, and Madison Torrez.
The Lady Horns venture to Comanche Friday night.
