The office of District Attorney Micheal Murray issued the following press release Friday regarding felony cases heard in 35th District Court by Judge Mike Smith.

• Angelica Marie Rodriguez aka Angelica Silva pled guilty to felony possession of Possession of a Controlled Substance-Drug Free Zone and was sentenced to 7 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division. Further, Rodriguez, on probation for the state jail felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance-Drug Free Zone, was adjudicated and sentenced to 2 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.
• Dominick Eddington, on probation for the felony offense of Sexual Assault of a Child, was adjudicated and sentenced to 5 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
• Melinda Kay Ford aka Crosby pled guilty to the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance and was sentenced to 5 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
• Jacob Morgan, on probation for the felony offense of Assault Family Violence-Enhanced, was adjudicated and sentenced to 5 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
