COLEMAN – The Brownwood Lions dipped to 10-9 on the season with an 82-51 road loss against the Class 2A Coleman Bluecats Tuesday night.
Brownwood trailed Coleman (9-6) by a 22-12 count after one quarter, 41-22 at halftime, and 61-37 heading into the fourth period.
The Lions received 20 points from Tristan Salinas followed by Luke Gray with seven , Ike Hall and Gage Sparks with five apiece, Morsello Hooker and Ryder Lancaster with four each, Trent Loftin with three, and Hayden Proffitt with two points.
Coleman was led by Braxton Smith with 27 points, Blaze Hronek with 15, and Hunter Lackey with 12 points.
The Lions are back in action at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Gatesville.
