The Stars of Texas Juried Art Exhibit is slated to be open to the public February 5-11th at the Depot Civic Center in Brownwood with the addition of a jazz quartet concert on Friday, February 10th.
“We had amazing feedback on our classical music concert last year,” Stars Committee Chairwoman Amanda Coers explained. “Several attendees mentioned they would enjoy a jazz concert as well. We reached out to the Gatsby Gang Jazz Band, and we’re really excited about this year’s concert.”
The Gatsby Gang Jazz Band is a prohibition style group specializing in music from the roaring 1920s era. The group will perform a 2-hour concert in celebration of the annual Stars of Texas Juried Art Exhibit. Ticket sales are open to the public and will include admission to the exhibit, two drink tickets per attendee, light hors d’oeuvres, and plenty of fun! 1920s attire is encouraged for the event.
