Willie Ruth Robbins, age 86, of Coleman passed away Thursday, December 22, 2022. Visitation will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, December 30, 2022, at Heartland Funeral Home in Early, with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 AM.
Ruth was born on April 6, 1936, at her home in Coleman County, to Douglas and Stella Rhodes. She married Frank Robbins on December 18, 1996 in McCamey, Texas. Ruth had been an active member in First Baptist Church Coahoma where she loved to sing. She had also been a member in the Rebekah Lodge and the Garden Club of McCamey. Ruth enjoyed reading, working on puzzles and crocheting. She was a successful business woman, owning two of her own businesses.
Ruth is survived by her children; Ann Schoenewolf and husband Doug of Bay City, Doug Holder and wife Paula of May, Wanda Dufresne and husband Larry of Holland, Michigan, Rebecca Pritchett of May, Mary Garrison and husband Cory of May, Chris Holder and wife Angel of Lawn; sister, Helen Dunn of Gun Barrel City; 12 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Frank Robbins; her brothers, Joe and Buford Rhodes.
