A memorial service for Glen L. Long, age 82, of Brownwood, will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, December 19, 2022, at Grace Baptist Church. Glen passed away on Monday, December 12, 2022, in Brownwood.
Glen was born on July 8, 1940, in Tiger, Arizona, to Joe Robert and Woodie May (Brown) Long. He married Lenora Swinford on July 2, 1961, in Tatum, New Mexico. Glen worked in auto parts sales and repair. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Early.
Glen enjoyed watching golf, cars, drinking coffee and fellowship with the men of Grace Baptist Church.
Glen is survived by his wife of 61 years, Lenora Long of Brownwood, two brothers, Johnny Long of Lubbock and Billy Long of Cisco, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and multiple brothers and sisters.
