- On Thursday, November 17, at about 11:09 a.m., Deputy Byron Langley and Deputy Chris Williamson were dispatched to an animal at large call located at Ave A, Blanket. Upon arrival, deputies observed the dog had been shot by a neighbor of the property owner. The dog showed signs of aggression in past encounters with livestock.
- On Thursday, November 17, at approximately 11:59 a.m. Deputy Ira G. Smith was advised a caller at CR 405 stated dogs had attacked his lamb. Caller said an unknown female said the dog(s) were attacking the lamb and she shot the lamb to stop it from suffering.
- On Thursday, November 17, at 5:55 p.m., dispatch advised there was an individual at the Brown County Law Enforcement Center, W. Commerce, wishing to speak with a deputy about an unauthorized ATM withdraw at Citizens National Bank. Deputy Smith made contact with the complainant who discovered funds had been withdrawn from her deceased brother-in-law’s bank account. Information was gathered and a report made.
