The November sales tax allocations were up nicely in Bangs and Early, and down slightly in Brownwood, compared with November 2021. The allocations from the Texas Comptroller’s office represent retail sales in September 2022. Details below.
BROWNWOOD
The City of Brownwood received $633,717, down 1.89% from November 2021. Fiscal year-to-date receipts, which include the October and November 2022 allocations, are $1,182,428, an increase of 3.96%.
The Brownwood Municipal Development District received $199,530 in November, down 2.11%. Fiscal year-to-date the BMDD has received $379,998, up 4.11%
EARLY
The City of Early received $222,337, up 15.78% over November 2021. Fiscal Year-to-date the City of Early received $449,367, an increase of 22.15%.
The Early Municipal Development District received $71,253 in November, up 15.56% over November 2021. Fiscal Year-to-date the EMDD has received $145,386, up 21.59%.
BANGS
The City of Bangs received $25,869, up 16.59% over November 2021. Fiscal Year-to-date the City of Bangs has received $45,995, an increase of 11.98%.
The Bangs Municipal Development District received $3,871 in November, up 26.71% over November 2021. Fiscal Year-to-date the BMDD has received $7,008, an increase of 16.26%.
