- On Sunday, Nov. 6, Deputy John Geis was dispatched to an animal complaint. Information was gathered, and a report was made.
- On Thursday, Nov. 10, Deputy John Geis was dispatched to handle a Dog Running at Large on CR 550. Information was gathered, and a report was made.
- On Thursday, Nov. 10, at approximately 8:55 a.m., Sgt. Andre Smoot conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle with defective brake lamp. While speaking with the driver, the smell of marijuana was emanating from the vehicle. The driver refused several commands to exit the vehicle. After getting the driver from the vehicle a search was conducted, a marijuana cigarette and methamphetamine pipe were discovered. The driver was charged with Possession of Controlled Substance PG 1 under 1 gram, State Jail Felony, Possession of Marijuana Class B Misdemeanor, and Interference with Public Duties, Class B Misdemeanor.
- On Friday, Nov. 11 at approximately 11:57 a.m., Deputy G Smith was informed, by dispatch, of a theft of a red Chevy pickup stolen from FM 585. The owner was contacted and she said the vehicle had been left at ex-husband’s residence on FM 585 and no one had permission to operate the vehicle. She said she knew the vehicle had been driven because she had received a toll road fee in the mail. The residence on 585 was checked and the vehicle was not at that location. Information was gathered, and report was taken.
- On Friday, Nov. 11 at about 1:23 p.m., Deputy Byron Langley and Deputy Chris Williamson were dispatched to N 279. This was for a reckless driver. Two victims were attempting to pull out of a parking lot. This was when a suspect swerved to hit them and attempted to run the victims off the road.
- On Saturday, Nov. 12 at approximately 1:46 a.m., Sgt. Chris Angel conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for speeding in the West U.S. Highway 67. The driver was found to be in possession of marijuana, placed under arrest and booked into the Brown County Jail for Possession of Marijuana Less than Two Ounces.
- On Saturday, Nov. 12 at approximately 12:36 p.m., Deputy Ira G. Smith made a traffic stop on a white Nissan passenger car. Contact was made with the driver. While checking the status of the driver’s ID dispatch advised the driver had 6 warrants in incode. The driver was arrested on the warrants. Upon arrival at the jail, the driver was found to be in possession of methamphetamine. The driver flushed Methamphetamine down the toilet at the jail.
- On Saturday, Nov. 12 Deputy Toby Mathis was notified of a found backpack, with possible narcotic related items inside. The bag and items were seized. Information was gathered, and a report was made.
- On Sunday, Nov. 13 at 1:07 p.m., Deputy Ira G. Smith was contacted by dispatch and informed of a death on Wildwood. Deputy Smith arrived at the residence and discovered the deceased. Information was gathered, and deceased report was taken.
