Tommy Wade, age 61, of Zephyr passed away Thursday, October 27, 2022, at home.

A Memorial Service for Tommy will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 4, 2022, at Zephyr Baptist Church with Bill Slaymaker officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood.

Tommy was born on November 4, 1960, to Joe Wade and Joy (Golden) Cornelius in Brownwood. He attended Zephyr ISD. He worked for Ross Co. and then went to work for Kohler for several years. Tommy loved being outdoors, hunting and fishing.

Tommy is survived by his mother, Joy Cornelius of Brownwood; father and stepmother, Joe and Janice Wade of Zephyr; sister, Alicia Voglesong and husband Gary of Brownwood; 2 brothers, Michael Wade and wife Carol of Zephyr, Viron Cornelius and wife Becky of Zephyr; and 2 nephews and 3 nieces. He is also survived by several other relatives and his friends.

He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Ronnie Cornelius.
