Samuel Thompson, 68, passed away on September 28, 2022, in Brownwood, Texas.

Samuel Thompson was born on February 16, 1954, in Tuscon, AZ, to Curtis “Gail” Thompson and Lois “Jane” Vest. He married Paula Gresham on September 14, 2013, at their home.

Samuel was an avid collector of guns and old kerosene lamps. He enjoyed camping, building his home, and woodworking. He was a loving father, husband, brother, and grandfather. Samuel was a great strong man that will be missed by many.

Samuel is survived by his wife, Paula Thompson, sons Marvin and Lee, his daughter, Katrina, his sisters, Mona White and Cindy Thompson, numerous stepchildren, and grandchildren, and one great-grand child.

Samuel is preceded in death by his parents, Gail Thompson, and Jane Vest, one grandson, Samuel Avis Roy “Sammy”, his first wife Lyrena Thompson, his second wife, Jean Thompson, and a niece Patricia Dickey.

The service for Samuel Thompson will be held on Friday, at 11:00 AM at Heritage Funeral Home – Davis Morris Chapel.

Visitation: Thursday, at 2:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home – Davis Morris Chapel.

Burial: East Lawn Cemetery, Early, TX.
