BRONTE – The Bangs Lady Dragons dropped their final volleyball match prior to the start of District 6-2A action Tuesday night, falling in straight sets 25-18, 25-22, 25-20 to Bronte.
The Lady Dragons received six kills from Jadyn Miller trailed by Ava Boren and Emily Baker with four apiece, Neeley Bradley and Raylee Hutchins with three each, and Kasey Solis with one.
Laynie Evans dished out nine assists while Bradley chipped in seven.
Bradley also served five aces followed by Miller with two and Boren and Julianna Ethridge with one each.
Defensively, Hutchins’ 12 digs were a team-high followed by Miller with 11, Bradley with seven, Ethridge with five, and Solis with three.
At the net, Bradley and Baker each collected a pair of blocks.
Bangs (8-14) opens District 6-2A action at home against Albany at noon Saturday.
