The following fishing reports are provided by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department for the week of September 14:

LAKE BROWNWOOD

SLOW. Water slightly stained; 83-85 degrees; 6.90 feet low. Bass are good to eight pounds on crankbaits around docks with brush in 12-20 feet of water. Crappie to one pound are excellent on minnows suspended under docks. White bass are fair on crankbaits schooling and jigs under the lights. Catfish are slow on prepared baits around baited holes and on jug lines.

LAKE CISCO

GREAT. Water stained; 79 degrees; 7.15 feet low. Catfish are good on live perch and dough bait. Bass are good on rattletraps in deep water. After the rain, the bass were biting on topwater lures. No reports on crappie. Report by Jason Miller, Lake Cisco Rentals.

LAKE COLEMAN

FAIR. Slightly stained; 82 degrees; 4.95 feet low. Crappie are fair with jigs or minnows on brush piles. Hybrid striped bass are good on slabs moving quickly over the main lake chasing bait balls. Bass are fair on green pumpkin jigs, black and blue jigs, shad color swim jigs.

LAKE O.H. IVIE

GREAT. Water stained; 80 degrees; 21.42 feet low. White bass are great with live bait and crankbaits. Crappie are good with jigs and minnows. Largemouth bass are good. Catfish are fair on prepared baits, cut bait and live bait. Report by Concho Park and Marina.

LAKE PROCTOR

SLOW. Water stained; 82 degrees; 7.37 feet low. All fishing continues to be poor while the lake is down. Black bass are slow. Hybrid stripers and white bass are poor on slabs. Crappie are fair in 15 feet of water using minnows. Catfish are poor on cut shad.
