John Allen, General Manager of the Brown County Water Improvement District No. 1, issued the following information regarding Lake Brownwood water conditions Monday morning:

As of 7:30 am Monday September 12th, 2022 Lake Brownwood is at 6 feet and 8 tenths below spillway.
We are still in Voluntary water restrictions, Stage 1 of our Drought Contingency Plan.
Today Lake Brownwood is at 66.8 % capacity.
One month ago Lake Brownwood was at 69.5 capacity.
1 year ago today Lake Brownwood was at 100% capacity.
BCWID#1 is asking all customers to be mindful of wasting water.
