Brown County Fair Association has announced a new program for girls, grades 6 through 12, for the 2022-23 school year.

“The BCFA Ambassador program is an opportunity to learn valuable skills and enhance college applications while serving the community and supporting the fair association” says BCFA President, Bryan Senkirik.

The girls chosen to participate in the program will represent BCFA at all fair events as well as community events like the Kiwanis Pancake Supper and the annual Christmas parade.

“This program does two very important things. It gives girls involved in FFA, FCCLA, and 4H the opportunity to grow through serving their community, making new friends, learning new skills, and building their college applications. It also gives the BCFA Board and Queen’s Committee a chance to recognize and reward the girls who work so hard with their projects each year ” says Queen Committee member, Bayley Ramphal.

If your child is interested in participating in the Ambassador program, click here to complete the interest form.

There will be an informational meeting on Sunday, September 11th at The Turtle Restaurant in downtown Brownwood. Refreshments will be served. Parents, Ag Teachers, and Sponsors are welcome to attend.
