Jean Willingham, age 81, of Lake Brownwood passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2022, at home surrounded by loved ones.

Graveside Services for Jean will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 2, 2022, at Ross Cemetery in Baird with Bill Slaymaker officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her husband. There is no set visitation. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood.

Jean was born on September 1, 1941, to Eldon and Ollie (Harris) Vines in Baird. She met the love of her life, Bobby Willingham, and the two were married on January 30, 1960, and remained married until his passing on June 1, 1995. They lived in Pecos for 25 years and then moved to Brownwood. She and Bobby enjoyed going to the Elks Lodge, playing golf, and watching tv. Jean loved her jewelry; the family loved to tease her and call her “Jean Jean the Bling Machine”.

Jean is survived by her two daughters, Sonya Brame and husband Barry of Andrews, Phyllis Hardwick and husband Buck of Brownwood; grandchildren, Amber Carbajal and husband Junior of May, Logan Cooksey and wife Alicia of Midland, Dylan Brame and wife Kristen of Odessa, and Jeremy Bicknell of May; 9 great-grandchildren, Breanna Harding and husband Dakota, Josh, Alexis, Trey and Candy Carbajal, Kinsley and Braxton Brame, Evalyn Cooksey, Zevha and Lotus Duffy; 5 great-great-grandchildren, Gracelyn, Everly, Rhkyer, Addalin, and Arionna; one brother, Tommy Vines and Etta Long of Balmorhea; two sisters, Bess Donaway and Lee of Amarillo, Deborah Douglas of Los Angeles, CA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Vernon and Elaine, Dale and Dianna, Fuzzy and Nita, Shirley and Norm, Sandy and Kyle; and her beloved chihuahua, Sweetie. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Willingham; and parents, Eldon and Ollie Vines.
