Karon Jones, 73, of Comanche, TX, passed from this life in her home surrounded by her family, Monday August 22, 2022. The family has entrusted her final arrangements to Heartland Funeral and Cremations of Comanche. Karon LaVonne Lee was born April 14, 1949, in Roswell, NM, to Donald Dansby and Francie Boyle. Karon attended and graduated school for nursing and worked more than 20 years in the Comanche Community Hospital. Later she became a beautician and worked at Mane Tamers Salon. Karon held many interests involving herself in gardening and housekeeping, helping others in need, spending special time with friends and family, and living her faith by serving Jesus. Karon will be missed by many.

Karon is survived by those in her family, Tonya and Kendall Keith, Jackie and Jodi Middleton, Lisa Scheriger , all of Comanche TX, and Clint and Angela Ezra of Winters TX; 12 grandchildren, Beau Keith, Kamber Keith, Cory Middleton, Payton Middleton, Heighlye Mize, Jaydon Ezra, Kasey Middleton, Seth Gibson, Kelsi Sanchez, Landon Anderson, Payton Anderson, and Addison Anderson; seven great-grandchildren; brother and sisters, Glenda Brown and husband Ken, Rick Dansby and wife Elaine, and Margaret Barker. She was preceded in death by grandson, Ryan Neely Keith, her parents, mother Francis Boyle and father Donald Dansby; brothers, Kerry Don Dansby and Mark Dansby.
