The annual ‘Meet the Lions’ event, signaling the start of a new school year, will take place at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 15 at Gordon Wood Stadium.

Student-athletes and coaching staffs from the fall sports – football, volleyball, cross country and team tennis – will be introduced.

The Mighty Maroon Marching Band, Brownwood High Cheerleaders, Lionettes and Lion Crew will also be on hand to entertain, as well.

Gates will open at 5:30 p.m. and concessions and Lions paraphernalia will be available for purchase at that time.
