Mark your calendars! With the start of school just around the corner, Brownwood ISD (BISD) would like to remind parents and students of the following important dates and upcoming events:

July 25 – 28

Lions Football Season Tickets for current ticket holders will go on sale Mon.-Thurs., July 25-28 at the BHS Athletic Office. Price is $24 for the 4 home games. Parking passes are available and will be $20. Cash or check only. Hours are 8 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. New Season Tickets will go on sale on Aug 2.

August 2

POPSICLES WITH PRINCIPALS AT COGGIN PARK

For Coggin Elementary, East Elementary, Northwest Elementary, and Woodland Heights Elementary parents & students.

PK-2nd Grade: 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

3rd-6th Grade: 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

August 3-4

NEW STUDENT REGISTRATION

New student enrollment for school year 22-23 will take place in the large conference room at BISD Central Support Center, 2707 Southside Drive, on Wednesday, August 3, from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm, and Thursday, August 4, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. This event is for students who have not yet attended Brownwood ISD, and Head Start students from 21-22 who wish to apply for Pre-K for 22-23.

Please visit https://www.brownwoodisd.org/registration for a list of documents that must be presented for each new student at registration. There are additional qualifying documents required for Pre-K applicants which are also listed on this site.

NOTE: The New Student Registration event is NOT for students who are changing campuses within the district or returning to their last-year campus. Those students will complete Returning Student Registration via the Ascender Parent Portal after August 1. To register a returning BISD student who attended BISD last school year, parents who have not already done so must obtain a student’s Portal ID from the campus office after August 8 by presenting a photo ID. Students who enrolled online before August 1 must also complete the returning student registration process, including new Pre-K and Kindergarten students.
