The Early Police Department released the following information on Friday afternoon.
On Friday, July 1st, officers with the Early Police Department assisted the Brown County Probation office at #2 Mistletoe in Early.
During the search of the residence, officers located a quantity of crystal-like substance hidden in the house along with scales and drug paraphernalia. The crystal substance was field tested and showed positive for methamphetamines.
The probationer, Joshua Dyess, was placed under arrest and charged with possession of Controlled substance and 4 charges of endangering a child due to 4 children being in the house with the drugs. Dyess was taken to the Brown County jail.
