Commissioners addressed Texas Local Government Code 130.908 which says Commissioners Court must approve any expenditure by an incumbent who was not re-elected that is over an amount set by the Commissioners Court. Commissioners all voted in favor (Lilly abstained) of setting the dollar amount at $2,500 per month. Lilly told Britton he is welcome to be a part of the upcoming budget process.
