On Saturday, June 25th, history will come alive with the sounds of music at the Brown County Museum of History. Featuring a series of musical instruments from Native American drums to a bass played on a washtub, to jazz music from the 1920s and Elvis-style rock and roll, kids of all ages can experience history through song and dance.
“This is a fun and lively program for kids and families. It is come-and-go, so everyone can move through the different music stations and have fun all through the Museum,” says Coordinator Kyndall Howard. Children can also create a special musical craft to take home, as part of the day’s events.
“And we are keeping the price family-friendly, too” Howard stated. “Only $4 for students, and $5 for adults–and children age 4 and younger are always free at the Museum.” To guarantee a spot, tickets can be purchased ahead of time through our website or at the door on Saturday.
