The office of District Attorney Micheal Murray issued the following press release Friday regarding felony cases heard in 35th District Court by Judge Mike Smith.
- Justin Lynn Weiershausen pled guilty to the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance and was sentenced to 15 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
- Jordan Ruben Mendoza, on probation for the felony offense of Tampering With or Fabricating Physical Evidence, was adjudicated and was sentenced to 5 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
- William Jo Bailey pled guilty to the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance and was sentenced to 3 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
- Brennon Oshea McDowell pled guilty to the felony offense of Assault Family Violence Occlusion and Arrest and was sentenced to 3 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
- Charles Austin Shaw pled guilty to the state jail felony offense of Burglary of a Building and was sentenced to 15 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.
- Anthony Vernaci pled guilty to the state jail felony offense of Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle and was sentenced to 15 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.
- David Strickland pled guilty to the state jail felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance and was sentenced to 10 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.
