Brown County Commissioners met Monday morning, May 16, for a brief session presided over by Commissioner Joel Kelton.
Commissioners left the Burn Ban in place due to ongoing severe drought conditions.
They approved the canvassed election returns from the May 7th special election.
Commissioners approved allowing Precinct 1 Commissioner Gary Worley to purchase a vehicle using Precinct 1 funds to replace a 2003 service truck.
In other business – Commissioners approved employee changes in the Sheriff’s Department.
A brief mid-year health insurance review was given by Bart Johnson of Painter and Johnson Financial who said he would have more information to share in a few weeks.
