- On Monday, April 11, 2022, Lt. Pete Bastardo spoke with a complainant in regard to being assaulted by his live-in-common-law-wife. The male had fresh scratch marks, which he stated the female had injured him after a heated argument between them. The female also broke a phone in order to prevent the male from using it to call law enforcement. The female was arrested for Assault and Interference w/Emergency Request for Assistance. The female was ultimately charged with Continuous Violence Against the Family, due to engaging in conduct that constitutes an offense under this section.
- On Tuesday, April 12, at 6:33 p.m. Sgt Jayson Bastardo spoke with a complainant in regards to theft at Oak Point Dr. The complainant advised a trailer and Polaris Ranger had been taken from the property. Information was gathered and a report was taken.
- On Tuesday, April 12 at 8:32 p.m. Deputy Byron Langley, arrived at the Brownwood Law Enforcement Center located at 1050 W Commerce, Brownwood. This was in regards to an inmate on inmate assault.
