Concepcion Connie Yoch, age 84, of Brownwood, and formerly of Austin, passed from this life on Saturday, April 2, 2022, at the Songbird Lodge Nursing Home.
She was born August 13, 1937, in Carrizo Springs, Texas, the daughter of Damaso and Felipa Guerrero Gonzalez. She married the love of her life, Joseph Yoch, in 1979. Connie held many jobs during her lifetime and was a woman of faith who loved to serve her Lord wherever she would go. She loved to sing in the church choir and brought joy to others with her beautiful voice. She enjoyed gardening and sewing and being with her family.
She is survived by her brother, Jesus Gonzalez, and his wife Lenora from her father’s first marriage and following his marriage to Herlinda Sanchez, her brothers, Juan M. Gonzalez and wife Deanna, Alex Gonzalez and wife Mary, and Richard Gonzalez and wife Karen, and a sister, Lupe Gonzalez Haynes. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joseph Yoch, her parents, and sisters, Eva Padilla, Maria Lozano, Rosa Arabulla, and Cruz Vega from her father’s first marriage, and her step-mother, Herlinda Gonzalez.
She will be missed greatly by all who knew her.
Her wishes were to be cremated and the family is planning a memorial service later to celebrate her life.
