The Blanket Lady Tigers and Sidney Eagles are champions of the District 18-A golf tournament.

The Lady Tigers were led by individual champion Karli Kinkade, who fired an 83, along with Karlee Varner (125), Allie Hodges (135) and Kat Saldana (136).

Blanket posted a 479 team score, while Priddy was second with a 509. Sidney’s Abigail Carter, with a 107, and Zephyr’s Haley Eason, with a round of 115, also qualified for regionals as individuals.

The Eagles finished with a 404 team score led by district champion Grant Drummond, who shot an 87, and district runner-up Bryce Griffith, who carded a 90. Blanket’s Brennan Varner placed third with a 97 to earn a regional berth as well.

The Zephyr Bulldogs also moved on to regionals with a 516 team score. The squad is comprised of Bransen Bumguardner (118), Jacob Nixon (122), Corbin Brown (137), Jake Brown (139), and Eli Williams (144).

The Region III-A golf tournament will be held April 18-21 at White Bluff Resort in Whitney.
