Renee Knowles, age 56, of Abilene, died Saturday, March 26, 2022, at Hendrick Hospice Care in Abilene.
The family will host a visitation from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, March 28, 2022, at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, 400 W. Pecan Street, in Coleman. Family and friends are invited to a graveside funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at the Coleman City Cemetery Pavilion with Rev. Tip Matthews officiating. Interment will follow in the Coleman City Cemetery. Services are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home in Coleman.
She was born Renee Denise McCoy on December 30, 1965, in Eastland to Bobby “Bob” McCoy and Dortha Riffe McCoy. Renee grew up in Albany and graduated from Albany High School. She married Terry Knowles on March 17, 1990, in Albany. Renee relocated to Abilene in 1990 and worked for ENT Associates. She attended Pioneer Baptist Church in Abilene.
Renee’s biggest achievement was being a mom and grandmom. She loved her family so much and it brought her immense joy spending time with them. Renee enjoyed going antique shopping in Coleman and Santa Anna. She also enjoyed crafting, going fishing, and playing dominoes. Renee had a heart of gold and was a wonderful friend. Her kindness and beautiful smile will be missed.
Preceding Renee in death is her father, Bob McCoy.
Renee is survived by her husband, Terry Knowles of Abilene; her children, Taylor Wise and husband Will of Abilene, and Tucker Knowles and wife Ilianna of Abilene; her grandchildren, Ava Mae Wise and Teagan Knowles of Abilene; her mother, Dortha McCoy of Abilene; her brother, Randy McCoy and wife Jana of Albany; and her nieces and nephews.
