- On Friday, March 18 at about 7:13 a.m. Brown Co Sheriff’s Office arrived in Blanket. This was in regard to a deceased person. The Sheriff’s Office representative spoke to the complainant, who stated her husband had died.
- On Friday, March 18, at approximately 9:35 a.m. Brown Co. Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to Zephyr. This was in reference to a medical emergency. Upon arrival, the Sheriff’s Office assisted with CPR until EMS arrived. The subject was transported to the Hendricks Medical Center Brownwood ER where the subject later passed away.
- On Friday, March 18, at 11:40 p.m., Sgt Jayson Bastardo was contacted by Trooper Wheeler. This was in regards to found property, located at Hwy 279 N. Items were taken into custody until the owners can be located.
- On Saturday, March 19, 10:42 a.m. Brown Co. Sheriff’s Office arrived at Brownwood. This was in regard to a deceased person. The Sheriff’s Department spoke to the complainant, who stated her father had died.
- On Saturday, March 19, at approximately 12:06 p.m., Deputy Scotty Burke was dispatched to E. Hall in Bangs. This was in reference to an unwanted person. The suspect was gone prior to my arrival. The suspect was issued a trespass warning for the specific apartment, by phone.
- On Saturday, March 19 at about 2:21 p.m., Deputy Byron Langley, arrived at CR 477 in May. This was in regard to stalking. Langley spoke to a victim, who stated her ex-boyfriend had been harassing her by text messages and calling her nonstop.
- On Saturday, March 20, Deputy Chris Angel, responded to Hendrick Medical Center Brownwood Emergency Room. This was in reference to two subjects being shot. A report was taken, and an investigation is underway.
- On Saturday, March 20, at 9:45 p.m. Sgt Jayson Bastardo was patrolling the 15000 block of 183 North when he was alerted to an accident. While first responders where performing life saving measures, a male subject attempted to walk on to a secure scene. The male subject was told by several deputies to stop and the male subject disregarded commands. The male subject assaulted one deputy and spat on another deputy during the incident. The male subject was taken into custody and charged with Assault on Public Servant, F3, Harassment of Public Servant, Resisting Arrest, Search,or Transport, Interfering with Public Duties, and Possession of marijuana < 2OZ.
- On Sunday, March 21, Sgt. Andre Smoot responded to a suspicious call regarding a front door to a residence being open. An investigation was completed for the door being kicked in. A report was completed for criminal mischief.
