Registered nurses are in great demand, and everyone needs excellent health care. The Texas Center for Nursing Workforce Studies projects the demand for full-time registered nurses in Texas to grow by 38.8% by 2032.  Ranger College offers multiple tracks to become a licensed nurse professional: a one-year vocational nursing certificate, a three-semester bridge program for vocational nurses to become registered nurses, and a four-semester traditional registered nursing program leading to the associate of applied science in nursing. All programs prepare students to take a national examination to become licensed nurses. The programs are approved by the Texas Board of Nursing.

Our highly qualified registered nursing instructors have a minimum of a Master of Science degree in nursing, with all having extensive healthcare experience. Faculty prioritize their students’ success.
