- On Friday, March 11 at around 10:34 a.m. Deputy Carlyle Gover and Deputy Kenny Nabers arrived at Ave C. This was in reference to the victim’s son damaging her window and fleeing the scene before our arrival. After further investigation, a report was made.
- On Friday, March 11 at around 3:08 p.m. Deputy Carlyle Gover responded to the law enforcement center. This was in reference to theft. After further investigation, a report was made.
- On Friday, March 11 Sgt. Andre Smoot responded to a medical call involving a cattle stun bolt gun. While on scene, pertinent information was gathered. The patient was flown to Shannon Medical Center, and a report was completed.
- On Friday, March 11 Deputy Toby Mathis, responded to the 200 block of N. Lakeside Circle for a report of disorderly conduct. Mathis arrived and spoke with a complainant who advised he wanted an individual issued a criminal trespass warning for his property. The individual was unable to be located at that time. Information was gathered and a report was made.
- On Friday, March 11 at approximately 6:05 p.m. Deputy Nicolas A. Wood, was notified of a harassment complaint, which occurred at N. 6th Street in Bangs. An investigation was conducted, and a report will follow.
- On Friday, March 11 Deputy Toby Mathis, responded to a crisis intervention call at Trey Ln. The caller advised an individual was having a mental episode. The individual calmed down while speaking with deputies and was transported by his dad to Coleman County Hospital for medical evaluation and MHMR assessment.
- On Friday, March 11 Sgt. Andre Smoot conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that failed to signal turn within 100 feet. While speaking the driver, nervousness was detected, and a consent search of the vehicle was conducted. A pill bottle was discovered in the passenger side door containing .6 grams of marijuana and the driver was arrested for Possession of Marijuana.
- On Saturday, March 12 around 2:55 p.m. Kenny Nabers, was dispatched to 10 Mile Crossing, CR 257, Brownwood. This was for a possible intoxicated person. Made location to witness an intoxicated male on scene, who was arrested for Public Intoxication.
- On Sunday, March 13 Sgt. Andre Smoot conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle with defective license plate lights. A probable cause search was conducted on the vehicle, due to the smell of marijuana emanating from the vehicle. Upon a further search of the vehicle, 87.5 grams of methamphetamine was discovered, along with under 1 gram of THC wax, and under 2 ounces of marijuana. The driver was placed under arrest and charged with 1st Degree Felony Manufacturing and Delivering of Controlled Substance PG 1, State Jail Felony Possession of Controlled Substance PG 2, and Possession of Marijuana.
- On Sunday, March 13 at approximately 3 a.m. Deputy Nicolas A. Wood, was monitoring traffic in the Bangs area. Wood observed a silver Chevrolet pick-up in the parking lot of Allsup’s. Wood followed the pick-up and observed it was having trouble maintaining a single lane and it had a defective license plate light. Wood initiated a traffic stop and conducted a DWI investigation. The report will follow.
- On Sunday, March 13 at around 2:32 p.m. Deputy Carlyle Gover responded to HWY 183. This was in reference to a hit and run, which occurred earlier in the morning. After further investigation, a report was made.
- On Sunday, March 13 Deputy Toby Mathis, spoke with an individual in regard to a criminal trespass warning. Information was gathered and a report was made.
- On Monday, March 14 Deputy Toby Mathis, was dispatched to assist Bangs Volunteer Fire Department members with a medical call. An individual was placed in custody for Possession of Controlled Substance. Information was gathered and a report was made.
