The Brownwood Police Department issued the following press release regarding recent arrests:
Christopher Farrow
On Monday, October 25, 2021, Child Protective Services submitted a case referral to the police department regarding a report of an adult male using methamphetamine near or around his infant child.
The information provided by Child Protective Services and further investigated by the Department resulted in an arrest warrant being sought and obtained for 22-year-old Christopher Kade Farrow of Brownwood. The warrant was for Endangering a Child. On Tuesday, March 8, 2022, Farrow was identified during a traffic stop and arrested for the warrant.
Christopher Lowe
On Monday, March 7, 2022, at approximately 5:10 p.m., officers were notified of a possible stolen vehicle about to enter the City from Bangs. Officer’s Ferguson and Rodriguez observed the vehicle entering the city limits and initiated a traffic stop in the 1000 block of W. Commerce.
Upon approached, the driver was identified as 38 -year-old Christopher Lee Lowe, of Bangs. Lowe stated that he just purchased the vehicle by trading his old pickup for this one. Lowe was unable however, to remember what type of pickup he used for the trade, what type of pickup he was driving and who the person was who sold the vehicle.
A communications check confirmed that the pickup was stolen out of Bellmead, Texas approximately 12 days ago. Lowe was arrested and transported to the Brown County Jail without further incident.
